What does this purpose entail?
When you approach one of our recruiters, apply for a job or register on the Grant Thornton recruitment website, we include your personal data in our recruitment database. We also process your personal data in order to manage our recruitment database and to be able to contact you. This way we can inform you about new vacancies or invite you for activities related to recruitment.
What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data for this purpose?
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for this purpose is your "permission". By submitting your data to Grant Thornton, you expressly consent to your personal data being processed for the purpose described above in Article 1. You have the right to withdraw your permission at any time. The withdrawal of your permission does not affect the lawfulness of the processing on the basis of your permission prior to the withdrawal.
What personal data do we process for this purpose?
For this purpose, we process your contact details, photos, information in the context of recruitment (such as your CV, work experience, education details, etc.) and correspondence with Grant Thornton about applications (including certificates, diplomas, availability details, references, etc.).
Reason for recording and processing of data
- The most important reason for recording your data is to investigate a possible match with one of our vacancies. When you apply for a specific Grant Thornton vacancy, your data may also be used to examine a match with another Grant Thornton vacancy.
- We can also use your details to keep you informed of vacancies - for up to 12 months after applying - and to investigate opportunities at Grant Thornton that match your profile.
- Finally, your data may be used to compile statistical data that are used exclusively for internal use.
How long do we store your personal data that is processed for this purpose?
Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary to complete the recruitment process. After completing the application process, we will retain your data for a maximum of 1 month if the position has not been assigned to you. If we reasonably expect to have other interesting vacancies for you in the near future and you have given us your permission to do so, we may retain your personal data for a maximum of 12 months after completion of the application procedure for these purposes.
2. Purpose of entering into an employment contract with you
What does this purpose entail?
When we offer you an employment contract with Grant Thornton, we process your personal data in order to draw up and process an employment contract. We use your personal data for the conclusion, execution and termination of your employment contract. We will then also include your personal data in our HR database.
What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data for this purpose?
You are obliged to provide Grant Thornton with all personal data that Grant Thornton needs in order to be able to perform your employment contract and to enable Grant Thornton to comply with the legal obligations in connection with your employment contract.
What personal data do we process for this purpose?
For this purpose, we process your contact details, date of birth, gender, marital status, nationality, photographs, citizen service number (BSN), details of your identity card or passport, declaration of your employment situation, registration number with the Chamber of Commerce and VAT details, information in connection with recruitment (such as work experience and education details), details of your position and position, details of your work permit, availability, employment conditions, tax details, insurance details, payment details and location and organisations.
How long do we store your personal data that is processed for this purpose?
For this purpose, your personal data will be retained after termination of your employment agreement (i) for as long as Grant Thornton is legally obliged to retain your personal data and (ii) if reasonably necessary to protect Grant Thornton's legal interests. After this period has elapsed, your personal data will be removed from our systems.
3. General
For an optimal functioning of the website, we also collect the following information when visiting this website:
