Annemieke Bos

Annemieke has worked at Grant Thornton in our sustainable practice for three years and is an expert in sustainability strategy, ESG, impact assessment and sustainability reporting. Based in Grant Thornton's Impact House, she and her team support a broad portfolio of companies in the development of sustainability strategy, assessment and (CSRD) reporting.  "I have seen our sustainability practice grow from a small and passionate group of colleagues with a shared mission to a solid, professional and diverse team of consultants and experts. Together, we have succeeded in bringing innovative propositions for sustainability strategy, reporting and impact management to the market in a short period of time. I am proud of where we are now and I see plenty of opportunities to contribute even more to the growth of our market, our team, way of working and, of course, our impact."

"I see plenty of opportunities to use new technologies to improve our working methods and create real added value for customers. Quality improvement is and remains my goal, and I enjoy working with the team to put this into practice by being creative, daring and by constantly looking for better solutions. This is how we ensure that our colleagues can do their jobs well, and our customers get the quality they deserve. By entrusting quality control to a partner, Grant Thornton underlines the importance of quality to our services. This gives me even more energy to commit to making a positive impact on the future of our profession and our customers."

Adam Azulai

Having studied Finance and Control at the University of Groningen, Adam started working at Grant Thornton in the Corporate Finance department in 2008. Due to the financial crisis, many companies found themselves in dire straits and he moved to the Restructuring team a year later to advise these companies. Since 2014, from the Deal Advisory unit, Adam has been supporting clients with audits and due diligence as part of a sale and purchase process.

"My passion for M&A in general, and due diligence in particular, remains undiminished after 16 years at Grant Thornton. In many ways, we are the lubricant of the merger and acquisition market. We bridge information asymmetries and give our customers the confidence to do a deal. The deal market is pretty much on the rise, which we also see reflected in our pipeline. There is no better time to boost the growth of our team and client portfolio as a partner."

Joost van Bloois

Joost has been in the accountancy profession for over 18 years and graduated as a chartered accountant in 2012. He made the move to Grant Thornton more than three years ago after a career at Ernst & Young and Baker Tilly Berk. His client portfolio has a strong focus on internationally operating companies with IFRS reporting. Joost is closely involved in the implementation of assurance on sustainability reporting.

"The job of an accountant has only become more fun in recent years. The CSRD and the development of smart checks using data analysis present very interesting challenges to the profession. Grant Thornton is very well positioned to meet these challenges. I experience a people-oriented culture where we are quite capable of retaining and attracting talent, which is important for our growth ambition. In my role as a partner at our Arnhem office, I am happy to contribute to that."
