Aimée is an expert in impact management, ESG, impact investing, and social finance. She has extensive experience in both the profit and non-profit sectors, supporting organizations in developing impact-driven strategies, impact measurement, and integrating ESG data into decision-making processes.
Before joining Impact House Grant Thornton, Aimée earned a master’s degree in history and social economics and worked for the Dutch government and municipalities on social innovation and financing opportunities. She then became a partner at a boutique organization in Switzerland that supported impact investors, impact entrepreneurs, and corporate intrapreneurs. In this role, she was actively involved in developing a tech-for-impact fund and embedding impact management throughout the investment process.
She advises investors, (social) funds, companies, and NGOs on mobilizing capital in a meaningful and sustainable way. With a strategic mindset and pragmatic approach, she helps organizations develop impact strategies, set up impact frameworks, and conduct impact analyses. Additionally, she has experience with Social Impact Bonds and innovative financing mechanisms for social enterprises.
Aimée has also served as a jury member for various impact programs focused on startups and social enterprises, evaluating and mentoring ventures that drive positive societal and environmental change. Furthermore, she has extensive experience in capacity building and training, equipping organizations with the tools to embed sustainability and impact into their core operations.
Recently, Aimée completed a 14-month expedition, cycling the entire Andes mountain range from Colombia to Tierra del Fuego – a journey that further deepened her perspective on social impact and sustainability.
